   About Us

The Hadley Business Association is a non-profit association organized for the purpose of promoting and increasing the general welfare of the businesses and people in Hadley and the surrounding areas; by endeavoring to encourage industrial, recreational, agricultural and other enterprises to locate or remain in Hadley.  

 

 Each year we strive to bring events to the community to generate interest in our town and remind everyone that Hadley is a great place to live, a great place to raise a family and a great place to start a business.

Over the years we have:

 

¨ Supported seven H-L students with scholarships for those pursuing a career in            business or the arts.

¨ Sponsored several successful events: Maple Festival, Travers Festival,

           Run-Pedal-Tube Triathlon, Two-Town Garage Sales, Family Fun Day in the Snow,              Community Market, and was active with the Fall Festival,

           Annual Tree Lighting Event, and the return of the train to Hadley.

¨ Supported the area teens with their street dance and car show fund-raisers

¨ Raised money for the local food pantry, the Little League,

           and the future teen center.

¨ Designed and produced seasonal banners for the town street poles.

¨ Maintains a website to promote events and memberships.

¨ Hosted a Fall Mixer with the Lake Luzerne Regional Chamber.
